I'm Anna's Mom.

Anna started pulling 1 year ago at the age of 6.

Anna pulled out all of her lashes, eyebrows, and make a large spot on the top of her head. She even pulled the dog and cat whiskers out.

We took Anna to a therapist who used behavior modification and lots of understanding and a family who gave her lots of love.

It has been 16 months and she looks great! I'd say she started to look and feel better in 4 months. Today, Anna is aware of her condition and is able to stop most of the time when she gets the urge. If I see she is upset or overtired, we help her get through it.

You need a lot of communication.

I never thought her hair would come back in and stay. It was very scary at times, but you get through it and there is "GOLD" at the end of the rainbow.
