Trichotillomania in the Media

Seeing trich in a magazine or on a TV show can help us realise we are not alone. Many people come forward for help after seeing trich in the press and deciding to make a change. Positive media helps to educate people about trichotillomania. As well as enabling hair pullers to seek help, good press can educate the public, schools and health professionals about how the disorder feels and how to treat trichsters sensitively as well as respectfully.

We have compiled a list appearances of Trichotillomania in the media; but we can't read and watch everything so if you see anything new or know of any past articles or shows, please let us know.
