Eyelash and Eyebrow Pulling: Tips for Looking Good

From time to time we are asked advice about cover-ups like false lashes and lash extensions. Our advice is that covering up can cause complacency with pulling and sticking things to weak lashes could cause you to loose even more. The best way to deal with lash pulling is to leave them bare, with just a little Vaseline, that way you won’t be tempted to pick any clumps or pull more because you know you can hide damage with falsies. Being pull free is about more than looking good, it’s about having control of your compulsions. There’s no ‘quick fix’ for that, just positivity and perseverance!

We know you can do it…do you believe in yourself?

Here's a simple tip for make-up to cover up damage from lash or brow pulling without resorting to clumpy mascara- Cover the gaps between lashes with some clever black kohl eyeliner pencil run along the inside top of the eye to conceal the gaps and blend some brown gently over the brow; kohl is softer than other liners so it looks more natural.
