Exploring the relationships between Trichotillomania, Anxiety and deficits in Attentional control, emotional regulation and metacognitions
Please help us with a new online research survey into trichotillomania and anxiety by Trichotillomania Support staff and Roehampton University.
It’s anonymous, you just fill in your initials (Trichotillomania Support don't see the individual results or initials). There are 7 questions, each containing a number of subsections. It takes about 30 mins to complete. We need 100 participant replies. If it goes well it could lead to further research; so it’s important to us.
A few tips:
- For the first question, the key is here:
- 0 -not true for any of my pulling
5 - true for about half of my pulling
9 - true for all of my hair pulling
- 0 -not true for any of my pulling
- Check that you have only ticked one box for the questions, as they allow you to click two. This might arise if you change your mind when answering the question.
- If the screen doesn’t move on when you click next, you may have missed a question, scroll up and see.
- In Q4 it is tricky to see which box is for which question, so take care to stay on the same line! (You can do this by counting down the boxes and checking they agree with the question number)
