Research Project: Show Your True Colours
Female native English speakers with trichotillomania needed for online research study:
This is a study that you can do in the comfort of your own home on a PC/laptop. It takes approximately 25 minutes and consists of the following:
1) A behavioural task where you will be presented with a series of words in different colours and your task is to indicate the colour of each word.
2) A very short questionnaire asking about your hairpulling behaviours.
On completion of the study, there will be a full debrief to tell you what this particular study is investigating in trichotillomania. It's important that you are on a PC/laptop (not a cell phone) in a room without distractions. There are opportunities for breaks during the experiment. You will need to register an email address upon accessing the study site, but don't worry-you won't be spammed; it's just so that we can record your results.
